Social Media – Photos and Videos; effective?
We ask you not to underestimate how effective they are. Because we’re about to prove their importance. In our social media experiments, it’s been proven visuals do better. Somewhere on the internet, we heard someone say text is lame. You and I may not entirely agree with text being lame. However, they think of text as being lame. Perhaps you shall go with the flow just this once. Then, maybe, your social media posts will perform better. We’re afraid you’ll have to cope with their short attention spans.
Any post that is short and concise is a preference of many. Remember that clearly. Be sure to get to the point and you’ll see an improvement in your engagement rate. It only makes sense now that you’ll get more exposure in this way. Posts with more engagements show more often and this is from our experience. Haven’t you heard the saying: “A picture is worth a thousand words”? Because we have. The saying basically means a picture tells you a lot. Can you use a thousand words to describe exactly how somebody’s face looks in some photograph? Probably you can. But isn’t that going to be prove difficult?
Try and think of the situation from their point of view. What if you had an attention span issue? Would you have bothered enough to read a long paragraph? Perhaps not. Because you come across a lot of them. Pictures stand out more, right? Perhaps imagery is not as boring to look at. The same goes for online video. What say you?
